Policies & FAQ

Client Guidelines

 

  • Please arrive with clean, detangled hair unless otherwise directed
  • Gender-neutral bathrooms available
  • Let us know about any sensory needs, trauma triggers, or preferred pronouns in advance
  • We often have our beloved mascot Floki (White German Shepard) at the salon. Please be advised if you have allergies, or if you need to schedule when Floki is not present.
  • First-time vivid color clients must schedule a consultation
  • Sanctuary Salon is a child-free business. Children are not permitted to accompany their parents or other family members to their appointments. All children 18 and under receiving services must be accompanied with a parent or guardian for the entire duration of their service. Children are still welcome to come in to get services, but they cannot be in addition to a parent service. They must have their own standalone service

  • Respect our time and boundaries as we respect yours
  • Be honest about prior hair treatments so we can protect your hair health
  • We’ll always give our best creative work — trust the process

Cancellation Policy

 

  • The time you schedule with us at Sanctuary Salon is set aside for you and only you!! If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please do so 48 hours before your appointment.
  •  

  • We require a major credit card, telephone number, and email address to be on file to confirm your future reservations. All reservations are subject to availability.
  •  

  • First-time clients are required to place a 50% deposit for all chemical services. All deposits will come off the final total at end of the service. All deposits are non-refundable. No exceptions. Please be aware of this before you book your reservation.
  •  

  • If the reservation is cancelled, or needs to be rescheduled and is not done so 48 hours in advance of the time of the reservation, a $50 per service fee will be applied to the credit card on file.
  •  

  • All no shows will be charged in full value of the service to the credit card on file.
  •
